From what I remember, the old chrome ones were softer metal and did not hold up well.īTW, unlike the 2 position sustainer in the PC1, the sustainer in the DK2S has 3 positions which even expands the sonic pallet. Well built, rock solid, nice Jumbo frets, no flaws on mine whatsoever. The PC1 is in a whole other league and is my main player, but for the money (you can get a used one for between $4-$500), the DK2S is a very capable pro instrument that is a perfect back-up for my PC1.
